Winter has almost gone and the first rays of sun are making an appearance. Even though the temperatures (also for the polar bears you may see on the pictures) are still relatively low - it's high time to open the electric tritop soft top or the sliding glass sunroof.
Right on time for the start of spring smart is launching the smart fortwo sunray for all sun worshippers. A special feature of this model is the tritop soft top in an exclusive red colour for the sunray cabrio and the electric sliding glass sunroof for the sunray coupé. You won't miss a ray of sun in the smart fortwo sunray!
The bodypanels are finished in exclusive flare black metallic. This elegant new metallic colour has a particularly intensive metallic effect that gives the bodypanels a red shimmer.
Of course driving with the tritop soft top down is even more fun with the right music on board. This is why both variants come equipped with a radio incorporating a CD changer and the corresponding smart sound system.
Those who prefer the tritop soft top in black and combined with a different colour can choose a colour of their choice without paying any extra. bodypanels in the colours river silver metallic, star blue metallic, bay grey metallic, or lite white are also available for the sunray cabrio and the coupé.
A seat in the sun in the smart fortwo sunray starts at a price of € 12,400 for the coupé and € 14,770 for the cabrio (incl. VAT). Both the sunray coupé and the sunray cabrio are based on the luxurious passion equipment variant. They are available with either a 45 kW (61 bhp) petrol engine or as a cdi with a 30 kW (41 bhp) engine.
